What Makes a Great Brick Drop Prize?
There are always new releases appearing, older sets we would love to track down and plenty of ideas being thrown around, so choosing what makes it onto the site is not always as straightforward as it looks.
£10,000+ IN PRIZES - THANK YOU, BRICK DROP COMMUNITY
This weekend, Brick Drop passed a milestone that genuinely means a lot to us.
Since starting out, we have now given away more than £10,000 worth of prizes.
When we first launched Brick Drop, the idea was simple: create a competition site run by LEGO fans, for LEGO fans, with great prizes, sensible odds and a community feel around it.
To now look back and realise we have already sent out over £10,000 worth of prizes is quite surreal.
Every prize that has gone out represents a competition, a winner and a moment where somebody got something they were genuinely excited to receive.
Some have been big collector sets.
Some have been smaller builds.
Some have been retired sets, new releases, Instant Wins, Pick a Prize wins and everything in between.
And every one of them has helped Brick Drop grow into what it is today.
For us, the best part is not the number itself.
It is everything behind it.
The winner messages.
The photos when prizes arrive.
The builds shared afterwards.
The familiar names we now see week after week.
The people getting involved in live draws, the Activity Feed and the wider Brick Drop community.
That is the part we are most proud of.
We simply would not have reached this milestone without everyone who has supported Brick Drop.
Whether you have entered one competition or fifty, shared a post, joined a live draw, invited a friend, posted a winner photo, shared one of your builds or just followed along from the sidelines — thank you.
Every entry has helped us keep building.
And every bit of support has helped us grow Brick Drop from an idea into something we are genuinely proud of.
As a small husband-and-wife-run business, that support means a huge amount to us.
We are still only getting started.
There are loads more prizes we want to bring to the site, more retired sets we want to track down, more new releases we want to feature and plenty more ideas we want to try.
We also want to keep growing the community side of Brick Drop — more build photos, more winner posts, more conversations and more chances for members to help shape what comes next.
Passing £10,000 in prizes feels like a brilliant point to stop for a moment and appreciate how far things have come.
But it definitely is not the finish line.
To every winner so far — congratulations again.
To everyone who has entered — thank you for trusting and supporting us.
And to everyone who has been part of the Brick Drop community from the beginning — we really do appreciate it.
Here’s to the next £10,000 worth of prizes. 🏆
